On Friday, the governing body of FIFA(FIFA Confederations Cup 2017) said, Mexico coach Juan Carlos Osorio has escaped sanction for abusing New Zealand officials in the Confederations Cup. In Sochi on Wednesday, Osorio was taken by television cameras swearing, in English- directly at the New Zealand coaching staff in his side’s 2-1 victory.
The fact came in the first half as Osorio felt strongly New Zealand should have put the ball out of play when Mexico defender Carlos Salcedo lay injured. Although, in the same spell, Mexico’s players regained possession and they too opted to play on. After this incident, New Zealand’s fan strongly protest it on social sites.
Then Mexico coach apologised to television viewers, but blamed one of the New Zealand coaching assistants for starting the the altercation. A FIFA authority man said, after analysing the incident that it has been verified that there are no grounds for any disciplinary action to be taken against the Mexican or New Zealand football associations or any of their players and coaches.
